Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am often working with complex queries where I need to tun the where clause or which fields I'm selecting. It would be wonderful if there were some ability to add a comment (whether to document part of the query or temporarily remove part of it).
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to see something analogous to MSSQL (and others?) where any line prepended with -- or something similar would cause that line to be ignored when the query is executed. I am aware that this isn't something that would be supported by Salesforce directly, but would increase the already substantial utility I get from this tool.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Nothing worth noting, aside from multiple windows, or keeping versions of the query I'm working with in a text document
Additional context
none
