Description

Added documentation for OVHcloud AI Endpoints integration in the community section using the OpenAI integration.

Type of Change

  • New content addition

Motivation and Context

OVHcloud AI Endpoints provides OpenAI-compatible access to various language models with a focus on sovereignty, data privacy, and GDPR compliance. As a leading European cloud provider, OVHcloud serves a significant user base that would benefit from integration documentation with Strands Agents.

This addition expands the available model provider options in the community section and provides users with clear instructions on how to integrate OVHcloud AI Endpoints, including information about the free tier (with rate limits) and how to obtain API keys for enhanced access.

Areas Affected

  • docs/community/model-providers/ovhcloud-ai-endpoints.md (new file)
  • mkdocs.yml (updated navigation in Community → Model Providers section)
  • mkdocs.yml (updated navigation in User Guide → Concepts → Model Providers section)

Checklist

  • I have read the CONTRIBUTING document
  • My changes follow the project's documentation style
  • I have tested the documentation locally using mkdocs serve
  • Links in the documentation are valid and working
  • Images/diagrams are properly sized and formatted
  • All new and existing tests pass

Additional Notes

  • The documentation follows the same structure and format as other community model providers (Cohere, Fireworks AI, CLOVA Studio)
  • Model ID examples use Meta-Llama-3_3-70B-Instruct as per the OVHcloud AI Endpoints catalog
  • The documentation includes information about the free tier option (using empty string or omitting API key)
  • Added navigation entry in both the Community section and User Guide section (following the pattern of other community providers)
