[Bug] Can't clone & run repo

Describe the bug

Can't follow steps to run the site locally.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. git clone
2. yarn
3. Sync the docs from the main repo
4. yarn start:docs-only

We encountered an error while trying to load your site's gatsby-config. Please fix the error and try again.

  Error: Cannot find module '../generated/versions/current/package.json'

Result of ls src/generated:

graphql.ts

It seems like there should be more stuff here, but there isn't.

Environment

• OS: Windows 10, tried this both directly on Windows and with WSL
• Node.js version: v16.20.2
• NPM version: 8.19.4

Additional context

yarn build also fails with:

 ERROR #11321  PLUGIN
