Rewrap doesn't work with C++ code #374

Sometimes my text file gets Auto Detected as C++, and then Rewrap stops working (has no effect). If I manually change the Language Mode to Markdown, then it starts working again.

I have the same problem with all of my non Markdown files (.ml, .py, .js, …).
VSCode:

No particular related settings than:

"rewrap.wrappingColumn": 80
"editor.wordWrapColumn": 80
