can't get the extension to do anything on a rust file... #358

I just noticed when I went back to my editor it had this error, maybe related:

I believe Rewrap just doesn't support block comments in Rust. I tried changing the language of a Rust file to C, and rewrap worked fine. For now the only solution is either to do that, or to use a block of single-line comments, i.e. I would also change the title of this issue to something like Support for Rust block comments as that's more descriptive of the problem. |

Hi! I was really excited to find rewrap in the vs:code extensions to replace my vim habit of
gq
'ing comments.But I can't get it to do anything.
I'm on Ubuntu 22.04, with VS:Code 1.73.1, and rewrap 1.16.3
I have pasted this year's advent of code day one into a block comment in a rust file and it just does nothing whether I turn on auto wrap or press the assigned keybinding. I tried changing it from alt-q to shift-alt-q and still it does nothing. Here's the exact text I have selected:
I am using the rust-analyzer extension and the only other thing in the file, which is named main.rs, is the default main block that is created by
cargo new --bin
