Starting february 2018 official skype classic desktop app is automatically disabled and deleted on Windows 10 machines, they say we need to use that crappy something we can find in Store. Now personally I prefer web skype instead. Also all the skypes (mobile and desktop) have weird bugs with message delivery, only web skype shows all the messages.

I prefer the desktop clients in Windows/Linux/mac I get the sexy dark theme , but a tad too dark in some use cases... Ironically G-skype has better themes.
i've managed to force the windows skype client a tad longer.. by the look of it the store based client is a webkit/electron done with more polish... but also not terribly configurable... , in low light black gui sucks.. once you pick a theme , your stuck...
the Linux Client on @gentoo or @Sabayon is stale and often broken... this at least works when laptop is running Linux on 2nd drive... G-skype beats nothing... ,once the video parts added and working... sweet.
Is this compileable to Windows? Or there would have to be some changes to the code? Would be nice to have an alternative against that shitty WinStore Skype...
