The width of the file switcher depends on shorten_paths. However, sometimes you get something like

seleccion_001

and I'd like to see this instead (unless shorten_paths makes the switcher to be wider)

The idea is to assign a minimal width to the switcher, and make it wider (if required by shorten_paths), but up to a maximal width.
