annoying pop-up help window in editor

Hi, I couldn't find answer to this and this help window is driving me insane, it pretty much does the opposite to help. Does anyone know how to turn it off? I've looked everywhere in Tools>Preferences and couldn't find.

@zosia-2137, you can open the window that @athompson673 posted by going to the menu entry Tools > Preferences. Since you're using Spyder 5, its visual look would be different but you'll be able to find Show calltips in the same place highlighted by @athompson673.
