This is an issue for the new Spyder 6 alpha2 release.

New dependencies:

  • fzf to provide fuzzy search functionality for the project files in the Switcher. This can only be added to our Conda and Binder requirement files.
  • fcitx-qt5 to add input support for Chinese, Japanese and Korean on Linux (see issue Spyder cannot accept Chinese input #4120). Again, this package is only available in Conda-forge.
  • spyder-kernels to 3.0b2, pending release.
