As described in the title, some posts from an account I no longer follow still appear in my feed.
A few clarifications:
-These posts do not appear in the feed when the page loads, they only appear when the feed updates itself.
-When the page refreshes, all unwanted posts disappear.
-The feed is set to "Automatic refresh" (Realtime).
Thanks for your help.

I think I've found the solution. I wasn't aware of this, but it seems that the HOME feed is special in that it keeps track of my follows and there is an option to manually refresh the follow count that I hadn't seen. It's hard to say for sure that the problem has been fixed because I can't reproduce the problem easily but I think it probably has. However, I'm not sure why the follow account didn't update automatically. Is this normal behavior?
