Thanks. For me the jury is undecided on whether the real time registers should be turned on or not. There was a lot of "excitement" about the impact of excessive inverter register writes with predbat being singled out as being a culprit in this. Trefor made a number of changes to reduce the number of inverter writes and introduced logging of inverter writes, as did Mark in givtcp. I keep an eye on my register count, and on Agile I typically get about 50 register writes a day to each inverter. For this reason I've not seen it necessary to turn on real time registers; the number of writes is well below any 'concern' level, and for me it introduces another area of potential risk by having it on. If you have multiple inverters and are doing load balancing across those inverters, then definitely yes, turn it on |

Just sharing this on here, perhaps worth adding to the install docs?
When using Predbat then Givenergy suggested I enable the RTCL register on the AC Couple inverter. The online help says this:
