Actuator endpoints disappear behind generic app endpoints

Even when the management.contextPath is not empty, the Actuator endpoints are not visible if the app has a @RequestMapping("/{foo}/{bar}.

Am I correct in thinking this change causes EndpointHandlerMapping to be executed for every request in a spring boot application that has enabled actuator?

Seems the original behavior was more correct overhead wise, might it be a better choice to simply document the behavior and leave the order so that the static and request mappings execute first?

You might be right, but you'd have to do more to convince me that it really mattered (you're asking for an optimization with no data to support it). If an optimization were needed I would probably have some other concerns, but I'm sure something could be done if it's warranted. Feel free to open a new issue and add data to it.
