Hey there!

My name is Remy Sheppard. I’m a Christian, husband, and web developer. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 10 years and our 3 cats.

I’m currently a Lutheran Seminarian studying to be a pastor in the American Association of Lutheran Churches and hope to have my studies completed and be ordained sometime before 2028.

I have been building and developing websites for over 20 years and spend most of my time these days building with Hugo and VanillaJS. (okay, okay, sometimes I use Tailwind)

Currently I contribute to Open Source Hugo based repositories (themes, sites, etc), and try to stay active on their forums.

I'm building an Open Source, community driven version of the Book of Concord - the Lutheran Confessional documents - online. My goal is to make the most user-friendly, fully featured version of the Lutheran Confessions on the internet!

This would fully pay for my Master's Degree, giving me more time and flexibility to work on Open Source projects, instead of putting in extra hours at my 9 to 5 to pay for my education.
