I'm Rob, an aging software engineer from the Netherlands with a background in information security, computer forensics, computational statistics, and capability based security.
I am currently working on a set of three projects. My ambitious long term slow moving project is the CoinZdense project that aims to provide post quantum signatures and least authority subkey managment for Web 3.0 blockchain infrastructure. CoinZdense aims to become a set of crypto libraries for different programming languages that Web 3.0 blockchains can build upon. Because I realize that in order for CoinZdense to succeed I can't just hope for Web 3.0 projects to pick up on my work, and because I am going to need some prrof of concept stuff, my current short-term project is an async python library called aiohivebot for the HIVE Web 3.0 JSON-RPC public API. The goal is to create a high quality async Python API for HIVE middleware and layer two nodes that for now allows for aditional hash based signing on layer 2. As the proof of the pudding is in the eating, a third project that I soon intent to start working on as soon as aiohivebot implements signing, is a port of an old HIVE bot called hive-archeology to aiohivebot. This is a simple HIVE bot for personal use that uses a nifty trick to allow it's owner to voto on HIVE posts that are already past their 7 day upvote window. The functionality of this bot is irrelevant, and the port will just be meant to demonatrate aiohivebot and to help in the proof of concept for coinzdense.
I'm currently going through a lengthy divorce and have relatively little financial room to affort spending much time on open source projects or other activities for that matter that don't help pay my bills. Sponsorship will help me allocate substantial time to these projects. While the projects are blockchain targeted, coinZdense aims to become generic infrastructure for future Web3.0 projects and I feel it is important to keep it that way, so funding in most traditional blockchain ways is not currently an option.
I prefer working on these three named projects, but if if sponsors have specific needs for me to work on other currently inactive projects or expand on them, for example pyrumpeltree , libKissLog, MattockFs , ZeroVault, CarvFS or MinorFs, I'm open to it, within limits.
