I work as a software developer in the fintech industry based in Stockholm, Sweden. I enjoy creating tools that improves the working life of people in the financial industry.

I love Java and R and are passionate about bringing the power of the R implementation for the JVM (Renjin) to the finance business. I have therefore created and maintain several open source projects to make that happen. Such as:

  • Ride: A graphical, integrated development environment for Renjin R which supports both the development of data analysis projects and the creation of Renjin extensions.
  • Munin: A reporting server enabling analysts to create reports in R and run them on demand or schedule them for automatic mail distribution.
  • Renjin test maven plugin: A maven plugin for running Hamcrest and/or Testthat test as part of the build process.
  • r2jdbc: A renjin extension providing easy access to relational databases.
  • htmlcreator: A Renjin extension making it simple to generate web pages from R code.
  • renjin-spring-boot-starter: A spring boot starter to easily run Renjin R code in a spring boot application
  • xmlr: A GNU-R and Renjin R package (extension) for working with XML
  • spreadsheets: A Renjin extension for working with MS office or Open Office / Libre Office spread sheets.

Sponsorship would allow me to spend more time on these and new projects as I would be able to reduce my consulting time in favor of OS development.
