Hi, I am 🧑‍🔬 Matt Davis of 🦞 Maine originally from Illinois! I have been Developing Python 🐍 and Django applications since 2007, from my time finishing B.S. in 💽 Computer Engineering at University of Illinois 🏫 class of '08, cum laude 🪙

I am a project maintainer for Pipenv.

In addition to Pipenv, I'm also involved in a number of open-source projects that I maintain and contribute to. Some of my recent work includes:

PythonFinder: Recently, I opened a rewrite of pythonfinder, enhancing its functionality and performance.

Growmax: An open-source project focused on automated plant watering.

As with many engineers and software developers, I have ongoing expenses related to development: ⚙️ essential tools, the 💻 laptop I bought specifically for working on these types of projects, educational resources, and more. Your contributions will help cover costs for software licenses (such as PyCharm), development tools, and the AI credits used to power ongoing projects, including LightNVR. Additionally, they’ll go toward sustaining long work sessions with some 🍕 pizza and 🍖 BBQ as I continue improving pipenv, pythonfinder, and other open-source projects!
