I'm a programmer with an eclectic set of experiences. From QA to full stack. Server-less to desktop. Non-profit to Fortune 500. I never had two jobs with the same programming language, platform, job title, or role. I love to learn, and have learned to be comfortable with the unknown.
And whenever I can, I try to develop as much in open source as I can, because as much I love learning, I also love helping others learn. I've written documentation generators, extensibility guides, and entire essays in code comments just to try and help others learn.
These days I work at Khan Academy during the day, but I have a few projects I'm tinkering with in my spare time. The one I'm most excited about is the Lovely Inbox project, whose goal is to rethink the desktop email client to make just fundamentally more useful and full of joy. As a part of that, I've also rewritten the node-imap library in an attempt to modernize it. Other projects include or have included a mocking library for sequelize, a three.js based redesign of my personal site, and the aforementioned documentation generator.
For each and every one of these projects, I always try to inject as much love into them as I can. Sponsoring me helps support some of these on-going projects as well as future projects that I've yet to share, and inject as much love into the world as I can. Because what project couldn't use a little bit of code and a lot more love!
