I'm James Ives, but some people call me Jives, or Jimo. I am a Software Engineer from London. 👋🏻

For the last few years I've been maintaining a series of open source projects with a focus on developer quality of life. I've built GitHub Actions that simplify the process of deploying to GitHub Pages, fetching arbitrary authenticated API data, and even an action that simplifies the process of adding GitHub Sponsors to your own project readmes. These actions are used all over GitHub and are currently at the of writing this used in over 500,000 public repositories! ✨
