[FEATURE REQUEST] Default appWith & appHeight #1252
Comments
I'm not sure I follow. Sparrow just saves the size of window when it is closed, and sets the size to the same width and height when it reopens. |
Right. Everytime i use Sparrow i might follow a different workflow: I might have it opened alone with the size i like most, or with, for istance, two browsers and a text editor. In this scenario Sparrow has a small window size to fit with the other. If i were to open it again, the last windows size is the smaller one. Should be the same setting any terminal (see mac os or ubuntu for instance) has. |
Can i have a feedback? it is not essential, so feel free to close it |
I often leave issues like this open to see if there is any further demand for it. Terminal interfaces are a special case, since the number of columns can affect the display of certain legacy applications. I don't think Sparrow fits this case, so I'm not inclined to add this unless I can understand a greater need. One man's "nice to have" is (unfortunately) clutter for everyone else, and requires ongoing maintenance. |
Can you make those two option permanent so that Sparrow always opens the same window?
"appWidth": 1204.0, "appHeight": 764.0
and add something like
load recent windows size
+default appWidth & appHeight
?OS PopOS!
