Combining the designs for the Maker Pi Pico base and the DC Motor Driver board, adding screw terminal mounts for attaching the sculpting wire in a more modular fashion #113, and probably removing the audio jack (possibly the ESP port also, but could leave in if wanting to make it Pico H compatible).

A custom array of LEDs of various wavelengths #6 (comment)

Where the array can shine through a standard-sized cuvette and be detected by a discrete, high-resolution spectral sensor on the other side. If the LEDs can be spaced closely enough to each other, great, otherwise it starts to get more complicated involving a Geneva wheel or similar. There's some question as to whether reflectance should also be considered here (i.e. if we know reflectance and transmission, then we also know absorption).
