Augment Code reports an error with the schema

Hello I noticed Augment Code reports schema errors when $schema is specified

I tried running the adder mcp example:

I ended up omitting the $schema from here

Which seems to fix it

Tool calls work just fine once this change is done for Augment Code. Do you think its worth it to provide the explicit schema removal as an option so we can omit it?

This seems to work just fine with the Continue.dev agent

This was also causing errors in other code assistants (Claude Code & Q CLI). Failing with this error:

API Error: 500 {"type":"error","error":{"type":"api_error","message":"Internal server error"}}

Resolved by setting showJsonSchemaMetadata to false - Thanks for getting this fixed :)
