Bug description
Frustrating difference in user experience between Android and iPhone app when uploading larger sets of photos and videos.
iPhone app forces users to wait for photos and videos to be processed and uploaded (?) before user can click send button
Steps to reproduce
open standard iPhone Photos app
select multiple photos and videos (using more files / bigger files will demonstrate this better)
share to Signal app
"Preparing..." message is shown with progress status, takes a LOOOONG time with multiple files, videos
only now user can edit the message text and send it
Actual result: Describe here what happens after you run the steps above (i.e. the buggy behaviour)
User must actively wait for the media processing and upload (not sure here) to finish sending his message.
Expected result: Describe here what should happen after you run the steps above (i.e. what would be the correct behaviour)
On android steps 4 and 6 are reversed, which makes the user experience much better (user no longer must actively wait watching the frustratingly slow progress circle). Ideally user can click send and go do something else for the message to be sent in the background.
