Question on Sillabation - Domanda Su Sillabazione #1

Hello! No, sorry, but if it's a procedure for word hyphenation you're looking for, then here's a source with rules to help you devise an algorithm. It seems to me that you can already understand Italian so you should be fine, and the algorithm itself should be straightforward enough. Let me know if this helped, in the meantime I'll consider adding a version of the dictionary with syllables highlighted. Edit: You should check if Office Interop has a built-in hyphenation function. |

Okay, so I looked into it a bit and there can be numerous exceptions, like words that can be hyphenated based on etymology, e.g. dis-ci-ne-sia, but di-scin-to, so any algorithm is necessarily an approximation. I also briefly checked Office Interop and I don't see a way to use the hyphenation function programmatically. I'll keep looking around but I don't know if this can be done tbh. |

Hi there! Great dictionary you put togheter! I was going to do a similar thing for a italian poetry writing game, for which i need the exact sillabation of italian words from an actual dictionary.
Does this by any chance cover that as well? if so you are a lifesaver, otherwise any clue to find a resourse like this is greatly appreciated, as you just did my exact roadmap, including the popular dictionary one :).
