Error occur when I update my vscode to version 1.24.1
no error log output seen in Help -> Toggle Developer Tools

Error:

Error: Running the contributed command:'extension.coq.interpretToPoint' failed.

My Enviroment:

macOS version 10.13.5

The Coq Proof Assistant, version 8.8.0 (April 2018)
compiled on Apr 28 2018 9:37:22 with OCaml 4.06.1

VSCode Version 1.24.1
24f62626b222e9a8313213fb64b10d741a326288

Problem solved by downgrading to vscode version 1.23
