That is not possible, no. bat is not an interactive program. It either prints all its output to the terminal or pipes it to a pager (which you might be seeing as an interactive program). However, at this time, there is no way to change the output to a different style.
I often forget to use "-p" when I want to copy/paste. Would it be possible to hit a key to switch to plain mode while running?
