I am considering shadowsocks as a potential replacement for OpenVPN, in other to achieve so, we need VPN style tunnel setups with GUI apps like OpenVPN has on all platforms.

But the only legit shadowsocks client VPN stype that I have found on iOS is paid shadowrocket, which makes it difficult for services to move from OpenVPN at least on mobile devices.

I am will to invest some money to start a community edition of shadowrocket.
Let me know your opinion.
