So for quite a while now I had the same few roles. When I had to select the role in the commit dialog, I only pressed the numbers from the list to tell taxi which role to commit the entry to. For instance, I pressed 2 for developer and 3 for Lead Link.
Now I have a new role, which got ordered at position 2. Developer is 3 instead of 2 now, Lead Link is 4. My muscle memory is now completely getting in the way of me committing correctly.
Maybe there's a way to mitigate this issue? Of course, new roles are easy, they could just be appended to the list, going higher in numbers. But what when a role is being removed? This will of course create a hole in the list? Maybe we could have an advanced user option to fixate the numbers to roles..?
