When 'Mark generated files as derived' is activated in the Compiler-Preferences the eclipse plugin marks the files as derived but not the folders. This might work for GIT as it does not care for the folders but not for SVN. SVN wants to commit empty folders.

This is a problem of the underlying Xtend implementation and needs to be fixed there. As a workaround I would recommend adding the doc-gen folder to svn-ignore.
