Description

User reports an issue with movie, as the admin, i go to the issues, click on the movie with the issue, the only option is to reply. Would it be possible to have a button to mark as unavailable delete the bad file, then automatically request again as the user who submitted the request?

Desired Behavior

  1. Issue comes in.
  2. Admin sees the issue, lets say a movie cuts out 30 minutes early or something is wrong with the file.
  3. Admin has a button to, reset the status on the availability, and create a request as the user who submitted the issue.
  4. user is notified that the new request is made, and they will recieve a normal request notification when the item becomes available.
  5. close, the issue once the new file is available.

Additional Context

What I typically do when I a user reports an issue and it is a bad file:
I go to plex, and verify the issue.
then radarr and delete the file.
then back to overseerr and do a plex scan to make the item unavailable again. (this is the longest part of the process currently) maybe have a button to refresh the item from the issue page so that it doesn't have to scan the whole library to mark as unavailable?)
then submit a new request as the user with the issue so they know its fixed when the new version pops up.

We most likely will never give Overseerr the ability to delete files. Refer to this closed issue #1924.

I must have missed that, i was doing some searching before i made this feature request..

Ignoring the delete the file part, i still think having the ability to manually change the Availability from the manage pop out would help significantly, if that one thing is done, then creating a new request on the user's behalf is one simple step away. instead of waiting for the plex libraries to scan and then update in overseerr.

i tweaked this to not delete could it be re-opened?
