Parameterize the quantum instrument using the 'auxiliary picture' in order to access a CPTPLND parameterization and a notion of error generators.

  • Create the class
  • Implement probabilities
  • Implement dprobs
  • Verify that GST is performed correctly, with the estimate fitting the data well
  • Implement gauge optimization
  • Fix the deriv_wrt_params issue by adding a submember class
  • Implement error bars
  • Ensure report generation works correctly
  • Add error generators to report
  • Make it go fast!
  • Long-term: Figure out Instrument/InstrumentOp infrastructure (likely spawn off as a new issue once we know what we want + fix Forward Simulator Dprobs Bugs with Instruments  #453 if we decided to move way from Instrument/InstrumentOp)
  • Long-term: Figure out user-defined/automagical isometry specification
