I suggest to prevent the host from saving thumbnails and search index for sandbox content, especially for Solid-State Drive. Since SSD TRIM command erases the space after a system deletes a file, it should trigger TRIM command after emptying a sandbox, to get the benefit of SSD TRIM command, I suggest to prevent the host from saving thumbnails and search index for sandbox content. Windows offers a feature "search index" to improve performance when searching files. |

Solid-State Drives have TRIM feature to erase underlying data, so emptying a sandbox should trigger TRIM. I think it should suggest a way to prevent thumbnails and search index from staying on the host so it can get benefit from SSD TRIM command @love-code-yeyixiao @offhub |
