Native NixOS containers look really cool, but I can't use them for at least Pi-hole which isn't in nixpkgs yet.

There was a longstanding issue running them alongside OCI containers: NixOS/nixpkgs#77925

That appears to have been fixed here but only in >=22.05 stateVersion: NixOS/nixpkgs#87268
