Testing framework

It would be nice to have some sort of automated testing framework for this plugin. A quick scan surfaced a few options:

• There is a issue for creating a fake k8s client for unit testing (fake client for unit testing kubernetes-client/python#524) but I see no evidence of code to back this up
• VCR PY (https://github.com/kevin1024/vcrpy) would allow us to record a client transaction and then replay it to help ensure any changes in code do not cause regressions
• The kubetest extension to pytest (https://kubetest.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html) can help with integration tests but requires a running k8s cluster, and therefore is only applicable to pure integration tests.
• Of course there are more...

Have you thought about any testing frameworks for this plugin? Are there any you would support and/or incorporate if I was able to contribute some code? Are there any you would refuse to support or incorporate?
