I've just tried following the link to the zip download file here:

https://github.com/revolutionary/zergRush/downloads

This fails with an XML access denied message:

You could download with wget and curl from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/revolutionary/zergRush/master/zergRush.c

But you should definitely use "git clone"
