Combine two projects to one?: simplereference and paste_reference

Hi @m-kappenberg,
there is a very similar extension paste_reference maintained by me in the extension repository and on Packagist: https://extensions.typo3.org/extension/paste_reference
It was exported in the past from gridelements and I had some contributors to bring it to TYPO3 11.5.
I was asked to bring this feature to the TYPO3 core.
The behaviour in my extension is a little bit different: the inserting of copy and paste is in one modal integrated.
I think we should combine our work and bring this to core.
What do you think?

That's a very good idea and I'm happy to do that :-)
In my opinion many would like to see this feature in the core.

Thanks for you feedback; at the moment I have to clarify how to contribute this to the core because I'm not familiar with the process at the moment.
