Task list items in the markdown editor with emojis don't render properly

Actual behavior

If I put an emoji (like :apple:) into a task list item within the markdown editor it is simple ignored.

Expected behavior

I would expect that instead of :apple: the actual emoji 🍎 would be rendered.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Put a line like - [ ] :apple: or * [ ] :apple: into the markdown editor. After this line there should be an empty line. Otherwise even stranger things happen as shown in the screenshot.

Host Info

Using the official docker image.
Wiki.js version: 2.3.81
Database engine: Maria DB
