Envoy proxy support

Does go-redis support connecting to envoy proxy fronting a redis cluster (https://www.envoyproxy.io/docs/envoy/latest/intro/arch_overview/other_protocols/redis) instead of a redis cluster directly? In theory this should work out of the box when connected in redis non-cluster mode. However wondering if other have tried it here? Also would like thoughts on how can we do random load balancing using an envoy cluster using go-redis in proxy mode?
