yaml.validation.error telemetry events are broken

For some reason, seems to only affect yaml.validation.error errors, but the telemetry event that is sent is very very wrong.
The error's characters are expanded in the properties field, basically breaking the metadata limit of an event. Eventually other characteristics like extension_name are missing from the event, making the event unusable.
