release-3.0.0 will alpha soon. If you are an early adopter please use that branch.

The reason for this request is to know which code we are using, so that we can patch appropriately. We are not early adopters.

I'll try to get a 3.0.0 up soon as a 'pre' release. (working on it now) I would encourage you to use this in your "develop" or any branch beyond your current release. I do not expect huge problems but there are many use cases

As I said we are currently using 2.0.1 and we want to know which git tree corresponds to this version. Hence the request to tag 2.0.1. It doesn't matter which other versions are in development, though it is a good practice to tag all released versions at a minimum.
