Looks like the -v flag is there but the version doesn't get value.

If you install via go install the version won't be known at build time. Currently only the release binaries have the version built in.
go install

Ah yes I did use go install ... on the linux machine. On Windows where I used the release where it does show the version.
go install ...
Cool. I’ll set a default so it at least says something.
