With the orgs feature on PyPI, there's a PyPA org that exists already — https://pypi.org/org/pypa/. Why not make use of it?

UPD: Dustin explained the implications as an FAQ in the ML: https://mail.python.org/archives/list/[email protected]/thread/E6MWIHEK3M232UILXGQFYPHGJHF7VYW7/.

No one has invited us or offered to move this project there. Much like there no twine channel in the pypa discord despite maintainers being there

Do you want one? I don't think it was ever requested, so we never created it. :)

Edit: I went ahead and created one. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I'm already well familiar with PyPI organizations as a beta tester with pycqa.
