Gold Rush: White Water Search Failure #11644
Comments
I've found this too, its getting confused and thinking the result is from the parent show Gold Rush. I accidentally created a bug report in the other Medusa project on github, realised I did so and found your bug report, here is what I had in my other bug report: Describe the bug Pasted below is from the debug log of the manual search (see Gold Rush in 7th and 8th lines): 2024-03-11 18:22:05 INFO FORCEDSEARCHQUEUE-MANUAL-33956 :: [c5a1e37] Unable to find manual results for: Gold Rush White Water - S07E01 - A Tragic Beginning System information Steps to reproduce the behavior Expected behavior |
Also seeing this error for Gold Rush: Parker's Trail.

Have you tried to create Scene Exception for the shows? |
Thank you for your suggestion, it lead me to a idea of what's going on and a potential fix for the dev to apply. I think what has to happen is the forced (synced) scene exception for the show Gold Rush has to be taken away. I noticed today when searching for an episode of Gold Rush Mine Rescue with Freddy and Yuan, that it was seeing the returned episodes as Gold Rush. and thus no search results would come back. Removed the show "Gold Rush" from my Medusa instance, and re-ran the same search, and suddenly I get results back properly. So to the project developer, can you remove the forced "Gold Rush" scene exception? |
Looks like the forced scene exception for "Gold Rush" is pushed by TVDBv2 ... if you delete the show from medusa and re-add it but instead choose the TVMaze indexer entry, the forced scene exception is not there, and the other Gold Rush series episodes can be searched for again. |
Describe the bug
When performing a manual search for the TV show "Gold Rush: White Water" no results are displayed via the search UI even though the logs indicate episodes are located.
When setting an episode to "wanted" and then using either "forced search" or "backlog search" the logs indicate an episode is found, however, the UI doesn't update and nothing is added rtorrent.
The issue only appears to be impacting "Gold Rush: White Water" as all other shows are working well and as expected.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior
