PvPGN 1.99.7.2.0-PRO Won't let anyone connect..

I downloaded the newest plain version hosted here. I open the pvpgn.exe it never lets me connect with hashes, etc. I set it to allow all, w2bn, etc... nothing even if I don't modify the bnet config at all...

I noticed when you run PVPGNconsole you get these right away.

If you just run PVPGN you don't see the errors unless you click the restart under server tab.

Didn't think I needed a dump since this is a fresh copy of the pvpgn

the bnet file looks messed up after I download it.

wow looks perfect when I pasted it here, but in note pad its all broken. I give you rdp access and have you look.

if I run the gui of pvpgn it wont show the errors until I click restart..

when I run the pvpgnconsole.exe I get the errors right away.

So I extracted a new copy and used notepad++ to view the bnetd file it shows properly. Now it seems we can't use windows note pad anymore.... But the errors are still there from a fresh copy. I've ran many pvpgns before never had an issue until this version.

Curious if anyone else has this problem.

I don't see an attempt from a client to connect to PvPGN.
The errors aren't affecting PvPGN, but if it still bothers you, I pushed a change to the develop branch, so you can download a new copy of bnetd.conf: https://github.com/pvpgn/pvpgn-server/blob/develop/conf/bnetd.conf.win32

I got in with war2 finally. Don't know why allow bad version and unknown dosent seem to work. War2 worked with my android bot hmmm.... but not with my windows stealth bot with hashes or bnls.

Skip_versioncheck is no longer in the bnetd config file? That's the problem! Why was this removed?

The debug and trace log levels are still disabled, I need to see the logs with all log levels enabled.
The skip_versioncheck option was removed because the other options were sufficient. The only benefit of having the option is to allow servers to not serve Checkrevision files to very old versions of certain game clients.

Can you verify that ver-IX86-1.mpq is in the /var/files/ directory? PvPGN recognizes your client, but it appears that your client never sent a response back to the server.

I also copied the files folder and pasted in the var/ directory. Nothing.... The mpq file is there..

I can get Warcraft 2 to connect with a bot on my phone, it wont connect with stealth bot on windows pc & hashes or bnls, I can connect with starcraft, but not with Warcraft 2 modified exe, its important to have allow unknown or bad version to work or skip version check totally. Warcraft 2 is only alive because of pvpgn it would be sad to let it die here or be stuck with old pvpgn.
