As a side note I think that we should never ever trust dependabot without manual tests. |

Personally I do trust tools like dependabot and renovate, if we have enough tests. I mean it worked with out tests, but we didn't check how the dependencies worked out at HA. (Like, there are only some libraries we have to watch out for) |

This is not a long term solution because it forces people to use an unsupported paho-mqtt version that will gradually become incompatible with other dependencies projects have. |
