Due to using Hamster on KDE extensively, I wrote a KDE desktop applet years ago similarly to Hamster Gnome extension. Recently I had time to publish it on OpenDesktop - https://www.pling.com/p/1981251/
Sounds like a good idea, but there is a practical hurdle: Project admin access currently lies with @elbenfreund, who is not actively working on hamster currently and has not been responsive in the last few years. The current day-to-day maintainers do have write access to the existing repositories, but not the organisation.
I have contacted @elbenfreund again last week about transferring some of the rights we would need for this, but no reply yet.

What you guys think, is it good idea to move sources as a separate project over to Github under https://github.com/projecthamster/ umbrella?
Thanks.
