Refactor sourcemap handling so we dont use 3 different ways of accessing them

Right now we use Closure, npm source-maps, and simple JSON to generate/compose/mess around with sourcemaps. We should come up with a more uniform way of doing this while keeping in mind that we don't want to maintain source-map parsing etc.
