Bug description

Help! I want to download OSU Lazer to play OSU's 4K mode. After downloading, I found that it can't be opened. It crashes when I open it (my Android version is Android 14)

What name is your device? And is this the first time downloading osu!(lazer) on that device?

Make sure you updated Android / HyperOS to the latest.

If that doesn't work, are you sure you didn't find anything in Android/data/sh.ppy.osulazer/files/logs? Without it, debugging would require the use of adb logcat.

Here's maybe an easy-to-follow guide how to install adb: https://www.xda-developers.com/install-adb-windows-macos-linux/. After you set up adb, you can run adb logcat, then run osu! and wait until it crashes, cancel the command with Ctrl-C, and copy and paste the output here.

That error is a first for me. I don't know if HyperOS has extra permissions that you need to enable manually (can see by holding osu! app -> App info -> Permissions). At least on Pixels (close to stock Android), no permissions are needed for the app to run.
