Bug

Environment

  • Platform: bare-metal
  • OS: container-linux
  • Ref: 1.10

Problem

Because iscsiadm and the iscsi config aren't mounted into the container, ISCSI doesn't function

Desired Behavior

Iscsi volumes should mount

I submitted a patch, #103 to fix this, but a new way of launching was promised that would not require this patch. It's been a while without an ability to mount iSCSI (I've been using my patch) so I thought I'd point out the issue is still there.

The rkt-fly strategy of running the kubelet in Container Linux isn't likely to change going forward. I'm agreeable to the proposed patch with the caveat that I don't really use iSCSI in my setup, so this will be a feature I'm not exercising (rare). Lemme know if it meets your needs.
