Realm offline

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install V3
2. Use Trinity
3. Check realm status or main page

What is the expected output? 

Realm online...

What do you see instead?

Realm is showing as offline, and cannot use shop , says must be online
Online character IS showing but cannot view which characters only the amount.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.0.4 ( lastest to my knowledge )

Please provide any additional information below.

set permissions 777 at config.php and config-protected.php

-- command for linux --

sudo chmod 777 /var/www/mangoswebb3/config/config.php
sudo chmod 777 /var/www/mangoswebb3/config/config-protected.php

ive just got round to trying this, everything is already set to 'full control' 
we are running windows server 2003.

having the same problem here
running 3.0.3 on windows 7 x64
apache 2.2.20, php 5.2.17
only that for me the realm shows online on main page. and everything else shows.
 i got the same error only once, not its back to issue #1 again
