Each blog post should have a link to make it easy to discuss it over twitter (instead of adding comments - yuc!). Tweet should be a reply to the @pivotaleng post announcement tweet, and should CC the author. No idea how to do this, since the tweet happens via IFTTT.

The user writing this blog post should definitely be the one receiving the replies.
